Sharat Sharan, President and CEO
Sharat Sharan has successfully led ON24's growth and development to its current position as the industry leader in webcasting and multimedia communications solutions. Sharan was formerly vice president and general manager of Hearst New Media and Technology in New York, then vice president of the Hearst New Media Group. Prior to Hearst, Sharan was responsible for business development at AT&T Wireless Systems, a product manager in AT&T's International Switching Business, and a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Sharan began his career at Online Computer Systems, a software start-up. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
Eoin O'Connor, Vice President of Finance
Eoin O'Connor has over 18 years of senior financial management experience with a strong background in revenue recognition, sales finance, SEC reporting and audit. Prior to joining ON24, Eoin was a senior manager at KPMG and held executive level positions at Oracle and Siebel Systems Inc. Eoin holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University College Cork and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Tom Masotto, Vice President of Business Development
Tom Masotto has worked in sales, marketing and business development in the technology industry for 20 years. Prior to joining ON24, Masotto was vice president of business development at Hipbone, a leading provider of web collaboration solutions. He has also held various marketing and business development positions at Hewlett-Packard, VeriFone, and Intel. Masotto has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Masters degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering from MIT, and a BS in Computer Engineering from Boston University.
Scott Ray, Vice President, Professional Services
Scott Ray has over 15 years of computer programming and project and team management experience. Prior to joining ON24, Ray held key management positions at Pacific Northwest Laboratories and Ford Aerospace. He has also provided technical consulting for such companies as Radian, Toyota, and Pacific Gas & Electric, as well as several government agencies and national laboratories. Ray has a Masters degree in Physical Science and a BS in Geo Science from CSUC.
Jayesh Sahasi, Vice President, Engineering
Jayesh Sahasi was one of the pioneers in developing applications for streaming media over the internet. He has been responsible for highly-scalable Enterprise-class internet and streaming applications, and has addressed business needs in these areas for companies like Deloitte Consulting, IBM, Cisco, Merrill Lynch, and Fidelity. Sahasi holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, a Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence and a BS in Computer Science.
Ed van Petten, CTO, Vice President, Network Operations
Ed van Petten brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology experience to ON24. Prior to joining the company, Van Petten was vice president of operations for Veon, Inc. He has also held IT positions at Philips Electronics, Power Computing, Trinity Industries, American Express, Mtech, and Baldwin Data Services. Van Petten is a graduate of Trinity University.
