Problem

To increase product adoption and help its clients reach their goals, the team at this Global Enterprise Organization runs a virtual training and certification program.

Until recently, the company used PDFs to announce course offerings and a video conferencing platform to conduct them. The video conferencing platform was limited, however, preventing the company from providing a more engaging experience, assessing the results of its events and integrating the program into its tech stack.

1: Course Catalog PDFs were not as robust as they needed, difficult to navigate and would often wind up being more than seven pages long. Not ideal.

2: Getting quarterly course catalogs finalized “was forcing us to set our training schedule far in advance, we couldn’t be agile with what courses we were offering or how we were going to deliver them”

3: Offering every course as a live webinar put the pr essure on presenters who needed to be available and ready to present to live audiences multiple times a week.

Solution

The team brought in the ON24 Platform to transform and innovate its training program while creating a “one-stop-shop for our clients, as well as for ourselves.”

To achieve this, this Global Enterprise Organization used ON24 Engagement Hub to create a centralized content library, “somewhere our clients could go to access the webinars we offer anytime that is convenient for them.”

Offering these courses through ON24 Webcast Elite and using a digital-first model made it possible for clients to consume content on their own terms, significantly increasing the attendee count. Clients only need to register once to access all the content in the Hub, reducing friction for both clients and the team behind the scenes. Much better than a PDF.

While presenters enjoyed prerecording courses, audiences did not miss out on the experience of a live webinar. The team used ON24 Webcast Elite’s Sim2Live functionality to offer on-demand courses as live experiences with polls, Q&A, surveys, CTAs and additional resources built right into the webinar console.

“Being able to provide certificates of completion for training courses, handouts and additional URLs right there on one console is a game changer,” the client said. “Our external-facing clients can grab the information and we no longer have to manually scrub our participation lists and follow up.”

With ON24 Target, the enterprise organization could easily build unique landing pages that its clients could access via Engagement Hub. What’s more, these pages could appear based on a client’s individual interests and training track — the company even could customize these experiences to support certification and training programs produced by third-party clients.

Results

Within just a few months of standing up their primary Engagement Hub, they have already exceeded their goal by 40%, attracting 6,300 unique visitors (goal was 4,000).

They achieved 4,500 certifications and have tallied 23,500 views. They plan on continuing to expand their usage across different use-cases in the business and are seeing strong results.
