Sharat Sharan
Founder, President and CEO
Sharat is an experienced internet executive and passionate entrepreneur with extensive leadership in the technology industry. He leads a global team of employees at ON24 on a mission to help businesses of all sizes and across industries succeed in the era of digital engagement. Through webinar, virtual event, and multimedia experiences, ON24 provides a system of engagement for audiences to choose and accelerate their own buying journeys. B2B companies then turn that engagement and interest into actionable insights, which enable businesses to scale personalization, conversion, and pipeline to drive revenue growth. Previously, Sharat served as vice president of Hearst New Media and Technology, as well as the group vice president of Hearst New Media Group, where he co-founded Hearst’s internet media business and built some of the first and largest B2C internet media businesses. Before Hearst, Sharat was in executive roles at AT&T Wireless Systems during mobility’s nascent stage and began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories. He holds an MBA from The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, a master’s degree in computer science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Bachelor of Science in electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra.
Teresa Anania
Chief Customer Officer, Sophos
Teresa Anania joined Sophos in July 2024 as Chief Customer Officer. In this role she is responsible for delivering a world-class post-Sales organization. She ensures a customer-centric culture, aligns departments to deliver a seamless experience, advocates for customer needs, improves retention, drives revenue growth, and provides a competitive advantage.
Teresa has over 25 years of experience in customer experience and sales leadership across public and private sectors, excelling in both direct and indirect sales channels. She has driven value creation, led customer success, support, professional services, sales, product management, operations, and marketing.
She specializes in scaling post-sales customer engagement for enterprise, commercial, and volume segments, delivering significant ROI and driving revenue.
She was previously Chief Customer Officer at Zendesk. Prior to Zendesk, she was Senior Director, Customer Success at Autodesk, and Chief Operating Officer at Algor. She holds an MBA, Finance and Info Tech, and a BSc, double major in Accounting and Info Tech from Duquesne University. She also serves as a Public Board Independent Director for On24.
Anil Arora
Experienced Technology Executive, The Tifin Group
Anil brings to ON24 more than 25 years of diverse executive leadership and public company board experience across the technology, financial services and consumer goods industries. He is currently senior partner at The Tifin Group, an AI-driven company personalizing the investor experience to improve financial wellness, serving since September 2020. Prior to The Tifin Group, Anil was the CEO of Envestnet | Yodlee, Inc., a financial technology company, from November 2015 to March 2019, and as a member of the Envestnet, Inc.’s board of directors from November 2015 to October 2021. Previously, he served as the president and CEO of Yodlee, Inc. from February 2000 until its acquisition in November 2015, leading the company’s vision and growth. Anil has also served on the board of directors of consumer goods company Conagra Brands, Inc. since July 2018, the board of directors of Water.org since August 2016, a non-profit organization that has provided clean water and sanitation access to 63 million people globally and was on Ping Identity Holding Corp.’s board of directors from May 2022 until its acquisition in October 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Rockford College and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Irwin Federman
Senior Advisor, U.S. Venture Partners
Irwin has extensive knowledge of the software industry and experience in public company governance. He is a senior advisor to U.S. Venture Partners and served as a general partner from 1990 to 2015. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Monolithic Memories (MMI). After guiding the company from virtual bankruptcy to $250 million in revenues, he led MMI through its merger with AMD and became vice chairman of AMD. Irwin served two terms as chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) and also served on the board of directors of the National Venture Capital Association, as well as on the Dean’s Advisory Board of Santa Clara University. He has received the Anti-Defamation League’s Torch of Liberty Award and the Brotherhood Award from the National Conference of Community and Justice. He received a Bachelor of Science in economics from Brooklyn College and was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in engineering science from Santa Clara University.
Ron Mitchell
Managing Partner, Low Post Ventures
Ron Mitchell is the Managing Partner of Low Post Ventures. He previously cofounded and was the Chief Executive Officer at Humanity Health. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Tabula Rasa HealthCare, where he served on the Compensation and Strategic Opportunities Committees, until its acquisition by Nautic Partners. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Mitchell has built and managed technology-enabled consumer and enterprise SaaS businesses delivering talent development and workforce solutions. Mr. Mitchell founded and served as the CEO of Virgil Holdings, Inc., a PE-backed company that owns and operates Hcareers, the leading talent recruitment platform in the hospitality industry and Virgil Careers, a career assessment and analytics platform. Prior to Virgil, Mr. Mitchell founded and served as CEO of CareerCore, Inc., an enterprise SaaS platform that enables organizations to scale executive leadership coaching. Previously, Mr. Mitchell was a General Partner of Provender Capital Group, LLC, a growth equity and venture fund making principal investments in media, financial services, and specialty retail sectors. His professional experience also includes Morgan Stanley, Mitchell & Titus, McKinsey & Co. and the Anschutz Corporation. Mr. Mitchell earned a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Cynthia Paul
Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer, Lynrock Lake LP
Cynthia Paul serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Lynrock Lake LP. Since December 2022, she has served on the Board of Directors of Allot Ltd. (NASDAQ: ALLT), a network intelligence and security-as-a-service solutions provider. From 2018 until the company’s sale in 2021, Ms. Paul served on the Board of Directors of DSP Group, Inc., (NASDAQ: DSPG), a publicly-traded semiconductor company. Ms. Paul served as Chairperson of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee, a member of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee. Ms. Paul also served as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Conexant Systems, LLC, a privately-held semiconductor company, from 2013 until the company’s sale in 2017. From 2002 to 2017, Ms. Paul served as a portfolio manager at Soros Fund Management LLC (“SFM”), where she managed a portfolio across corporate credit, convertible and equity securities. Ms. Paul joined SFM in 2000 and served as a SFM representative for the Council on Foreign Relations and on SFM’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining SFM, she worked at The Palladin Group in 1999 and at JP Morgan from 1994 to 1999, most recently as Head of Convertible Research. Ms. Paul graduated from Princeton University in 1994 with an Independent Major in Statistics and Operations Research, a Certificate from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, and a Certificate in Engineering Management Systems. Ms. Paul is an advisory board member and former board member of AlphaSense Inc., a SaaS company providing intelligent search to enterprise customers.
Dominique Trempont
Experienced Technology Executive
Dominique brings to ON24 extensive business and leadership experience in the software, artificial intelligence, and digital marketing industries. He previously served on the board of Airspan Networks Inc., a public company focused on 5G edge communication for the enterprise and telecommunication industries, from May 2018 to November 2023. Dominique previously served as a director of the Daily Mail and General Trust plc, a public, global media company, from February 2011 to September 2022. Dominique was previously chief-executive-in-residence at Battery Ventures, chairman and CEO at Kanisa Inc., president and CEO at Gemplus Corp., CFO and head of operations at NeXT Software Inc., and senior executive at Raychem Corporation. He received an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science from The Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. He was an adjunct professor at INSEAD from March 2008 to March 2016.
Tony Zingale
Experienced Enterprise Software Executive
Tony has more than 40 years of executive leadership and public company board experience helping build profitable and high-growth enterprise software companies. He previously served as executive chairman of Jive Software, Inc., a pioneer of social collaboration and communication, from January 2015 until June 2017, where he also served as CEO from January 2010 until December 2014. Prior to Jive Software, Tony served as the president and CEO of Mercury Interactive Corporation, a business technology optimization company, from 2004 until its merger with Hewlett Packard at the end of 2006. Prior to Mercury Interactive, he was president and CEO of Clarify, Inc., a CRM company, from 1998 until its acquisition in 2001. Tony also served on the board of directors of Carbon Black, Inc., a public cybersecurity company, from December 2015 to December 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of Cincinnati.
Barry Zwarenstein
CFO, Five9
Barry has over 35 years of financial leadership in the technology industry. He has served as the CFO of Five9, Inc., a public company provider of cloud software for contact centers, since January 2012 and as interim CEO from December 2017 to May 2018. Barry was previously employed by SMART Modular Technologies, Inc., where he served as senior vice president and CFO and played a significant role in the $635M transaction by Silver Lake Partners to take SMART private. Prior to that, Barry served as executive vice president and CFO for VeriFone Holdings, Inc., managing the successful IPO and subsequent follow-on and debt offerings. He has also served as senior vice president of finance and CFO of Iomega Corporation, Acuson Corporation, Mellanox Technologies Ltd., and Logitech S.A. He received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is qualified as a chartered accountant (South Africa).
