AARP Hosts ‘Real Possibilities’ Career Fair on ON24 platform
Virtual Career Event to Provide Resources for Older Job Seekers
SAN FRANCISCO — Sept. 22, 2014 — ON24, the global leader in webinar-based marketing solutions and virtual environments, today announced that the AARP “Real Possibilities” virtual career fair, set for Sept. 23, 2014, will be powered by the ON24 platform.
The AARP “Real Possibilities” virtual career fair will provide the opportunity for job seekers aged 50 years and older to connect with leading employers and access resources such as videos, tip sheets and live chats with career counselors – enabling participants to “tune up” their job-hunting skills.
AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all as we age. Among the organization’s most important missions is helping seniors find a job or start a business. As a part of this program, AARP launched its first virtual career fair in June 2014. It showed seniors how to navigate today’s job market, providing more than 2,500 candidates with access to top-tier employers, as well as numerous downloadable and video-based career resources and real-time access to job search experts.
Participating employers include more than 20 highly regarded organizations, including the American Red Cross, AT&T and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
