The ON24 webcasting solution will be used to broadcast weekly and monthly online “socials,” enabling Rosetta Stone® users to meet in the virtual environment to learn tips, techniques and cultural content from Rosetta Stone experts. With the ON24 platform, Rosetta Stone will increase the number and capacity of its webcasts and enhance the learning experience by offering users on-demand content, as well as access to webcasts via smartphones and tablet computers, including iOS® and Android™ devices.

Designed as a system to learn language for business or pleasure, the Rosetta Stone software is an immersive online language-learning program that combines online coursework, live interaction with native-speaking coaches and other learners, and access to Rosetta World, a web-based community where users can play language games and discover cultural content to improve their skills and enhance their experience. Offered globally in seven languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean and German), the company’s online socials have drawn over 15,000 attendees from around the world in the past 12 months and continue to grow rapidly.  Since inception, the Rosetta Stone social attendees have averaged significantly more time of language study in the program than a control group of learners who never attended one of the information sessions.

With ON24, Rosetta Stone will serve a greater number of learners by providing localized content and extra on-demand resources, including video, chat and social media sharing. Thanks to ON24’s deep reporting capabilities, the company will be able to better understand customers in terms of demographics/geography and their preferences for content consumption. Rosetta Stone will go live with its first ON24 webcast this month and plans to scale operations rapidly, with more than 15 webcasts scheduled per month.
