ON24 Announces Partnership with China’s Leading Provider of Digital Marketing and CRM Solutions
MIGO Selects ON24’s Platform to Drive Virtual Communications Adoption
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – June 5, 2012 – ON24, Inc., the leader in webcasting and virtual event solutions, today announced a partnership with MIGO, China’s leading provider of digital marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) services. Under terms of the agreement, MIGO will integrate and resell ON24’s virtual communications products, including ON24 Virtual Show and Webcasting Platform 10, in Greater China – Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong – as well as in South Asia and Korea. MIGO’s key focus will be on markets such as high technology and life sciences, as well as retailers, consumer products companies and publishers.
The ON24 virtual communications solutions will be integrated with the MIGO WebMAX™ platform, enabling MIGO clients to extend the value of their CRM implementations and to monetize their end users from a CRM perspective by creating 360-degree user profiles and tracking activities ranging from website and in-store behaviors to behaviors driven by virtual events. MIGO customers will also be empowered to use data from ON24 to obtain improved analytics information through WebMAX – which provides a single view of marketing activities – including campaigns launched via SMS, email, memberships and social media, physical events and in-store transactions.
As numerous companies look to engage with customers online, demand for webcasting and virtual events is growing in Asian markets. According to MIGO CEO Tony Chen, virtual events are particularly suited to the growing Chinese market, as the country’s vast size makes attending physical events difficult and costly. As a result, many organizations have not obtained their desired marketing reach through in-person events such as trade shows and seminars. Advancing technology, including Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, and the widespread availability of high-speed Internet make virtual events increasingly feasible and cost-effective across China and the Asian market.
“The expanding Asian market is perfectly suited for the global reach and scalability of the ON24 platform,” commented Sharat Sharan, CEO of ON24. “Virtual communications represent a game-changing strategy, enabling organizations to reach customers in new markets in a different and engaging way. ON24 is proud to work with MIGO to implement virtual events and webcasting as part of the overall solution that they offer to clients through the WebMAX platform.”
“We believe that ON24 is the best virtual communications platform in the world. It makes seminar monetization possible, enabling our customers to extend their content to more audiences,” stated Chen. “In addition, integration with the ON24 platform enables MIGO to provide our clients with the deeper analytics and behavioral insights that ultimately drive sales.”
